New Era Homes’ Uncommon Standards for Green, Efficient Homes

Here at New Era Homes, we pride ourselves on having Uncommon Standards. Those little details that make a home special, going above and beyond the “normal” … those are our standards here! Smart thermostats, dual-flush toilets, LED lighting, and job-waste recycling are just a few of our green-focused Uncommon Standards when we build homes in Central Oregon.

The difference between New Era Homes and a home builder that charges extra for every little green-home upgrade is significant. We believe that your comfort and energy efficiency shouldn’t cost extra.

What makes us green home builders?

Over the years, we have built several green homes under the Earth Advantage and Energy Trust of Oregon programs. Both programs are green building programs that require you to build to certain standards to gain their approval and certification for that particular home.

Not all of our homes come with these qualifications, but when building homes to those standards we have found that we already meet and exceed many of their requirements without doing anything different than our normal building process! That’s exactly what we mean when we say Uncommon Green Standards.
